Hostaway is seeking a highly motivated Senior Product Designer to take end-to-end ownership of design for Hostaway’s innovative SaaS solutions, with a primary focus on empowering property managers, vacation rental hosts (B2B), and guests (B2C).

You will drive the full design lifecycle-from strategic discovery to meticulous UI delivery-crafting intuitive, scalable experiences across web and mobile that directly influence user adoption, retention, and business growth. Leveraging data and user insights, you will shape feature journeys, refine critical touchpoints, and define compelling experiences that align with both user value and Hostaway’s objectives.

This position is designed for senior-level individual contributors who want to maximize their impact on product and design strategy as individual contributors-leading by expertise, not by managing people. You’ll own critical product initiatives, set design standards, and mentor peers, while remaining deeply hands-on and close to the work. Your Mission:

Own end-to-end product design: Lead projects from user research and ideation through to detailed interaction design, UI refinement, and implementation support, working independently and proactively
Conduct robust qualitative and quantitative research to deeply understand user behaviors, uncover pain points, validate design decisions, and optimize user experience.
Translate complex requirements and business goals into elegant, practical solutions tailored to property management and vacation rental contexts.
Create sophisticated high-fidelity prototypes and pixel-perfect designs, with meticulous attention to interaction details, usability, and visual coherence.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketers, and stakeholders to deliver feasible, impactful design solutions.
Evolve Hostaway’s design system to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence across products and platforms.
Advocate for user-centered design, accessibility, and design excellence, raising the bar for quality and innovation across teams.
Create cohesive experiences for web and mobile applications, optimizing for multiple devices and screen sizes.
Participate in and facilitate design critiques, share insights, and informally mentor junior designers, contributing to Hostaway’s growing design culture.
Stay ahead of emerging design trends, methodologies, and technologies to continuously elevate Hostaway’s design capabilities.
