We are seeking a skilled Tableau / Power BI Developer to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine a strong understanding of data structures with excellent visual storytelling and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Dashboard & Report Development
Design and develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards and reports using Tableau and/or Power BI.
Translate business requirements into compelling visualizations that highlight trends, KPIs, and actionable insights.
Optimize dashboards for performance, scalability, and usability.
Data Modeling & Preparation
Build robust data models and transform datasets using Power BI DAX, Power Query, and Tableau data prep tools.
Collaborate with data engineers to ensure high-quality, curated, and governed data sources are used.
Business Engagement
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, iterate on design, and deliver meaningful insights.
Provide guidance on self-service BI and support users in leveraging dashboards effectively.
Maintenance & Documentation
Maintain and enhance existing reports, dashboards, and data sources.
Ensure thorough documentation of data logic, visualizations, and data lineage.
Quality, Governance & Standards
Ensure visualizations follow enterprise design standards, data governance, and security protocols.
Apply version control, testing, and deployment best practices.

Required

5+ years of experience developing dashboards and data models using Tableau and/or Power BI.
Proficiency in SQL and experience working with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
Strong skills in data visualization best practices and data storytelling.
Familiarity with DAX, Power Query, and Tableau’s calculated fields and LOD expressions.
Experience working in Agile or fast-paced environments with business stakeholders.

Preferred

Exposure to enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Oracle ERP, or SAP.
Experience with Row-Level Security (RLS), performance tuning, and dashboard usage monitoring.
Knowledge of Tableau Server or Power BI Service for publishing, scheduling, and managing content.
