Financial Accountant

As a Financial Accountant you will work with the accounting team on the day-to-day tasks, participate in different projects to improve, streamline and automate our manual work processes. Be part of the accounting team’s mission in managing a growing Natural Cycles’ financial landscape, incl reporting accurate and timely figures and connecting with internal and external stakeholders.

What you will be doing

• Process improvement & system development

  • Help develop and enhance accounting processes and internal controls.

  • Participate in projects aimed at improving, streamlining, and automating manual workflows.

  • Leverage the functionality of our existing ERP system (MS Dynamics 365) to optimize processes.

• Financial reporting & operations

  • Play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Collaborate on month-end and year-end closing activities.

  • Assist with the annual audit process.

• Core accounting responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping, including Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R).

  • Perform month-end balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Support legal reporting requirements (e.g., VAT, MOSS, F-skatt, import VAT, SCB reports).

• Collaboration & communication

  • Work closely with the Head of Group Accounting and team members on various projects.

  • Coordinate with external accounting firms on legal and tax matters.

What skills and experience we think you have

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices

• Fluency in English (required)

• Proficient in accounting software and Excel; experience with MS Dynamics 365 is a plus

• Detail-oriented, organized, and self-driven

• Able to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Enthusiastic team player excited to work in a cross-functional environment

• A genuine interest in Natural Cycles’ mission and business

Location

We are remote-friendly, but we find great value in being able to connect with our teams in person. Most of the Finance team you will work with is located in Stockholm, and the team occasionally meets in the office for collaboration and face-to-face time.
