  • Fractional Payroll Support
    • Support a portfolio of 15-20 payroll clients and ad-hoc project work for clients. Will be responsible for communicating directly with clients.
    • Review and solve for complex payroll tax issues at the state and federal level.
    • Provide advisement to founders of impactful start-ups to ensure they establish their payroll foundation from the start.
    • Collaborate with Payroll Lead and People Advisory Managers, and other airCFO services to provide holistic support to our clients.
    • Supports People Advisory Managers with client request around onboarding, offboarding, and compliance.
  • Payroll Foundation
    • Maintain clients’ employee data within their HRIS providers while ensuring effective utilization of systems.
    • Ensuring scaling clients stay in compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • Perform regular payroll audits to maintain compliance and accurate payroll records.
    • Liaison between client and HRIS providers and state agencies with the administration of state registrations and notices.
    • Set up and track client state registration for airCFO clients.
  • Payroll
    • Own payroll process end to end to ensure employees and contractors are paid accurately and timely.
    • Ability to address and resolve issues and concerns regarding pay discrepancies and federal and state notices raised by client Point-of-Contact.
    • Review quarterly, annual, and year end reports for accuracy.
    • Actively review employee data to provide proactive value add advisory services.
