About the Job 

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Aspire, you'll be at the forefront of our software development process, contributing directly to the quality and reliability of our products. Your role will be multifaceted, encompassing various responsibilities aimed at ensuring that our software meets the highest standards of excellence.


What you’ll do
  • Defining and implementing test automation strategies for applications under test.
  • Managing the technical aspects of complex test automation initiatives.
  • Participating in Agile ceremonies within a Scrum team.
  • Communicating effectively with external stakeholders, project managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Studying industry specifications for clarification and education.
  • Making effective testing decisions on behalf of the project, applying situational leadership.
  • Collaborating with peers in selecting, configuring, and implementing test automation frameworks, tools, and architecture.
  • Assisting in defect submission, prioritization, and resolution.
  • Conducting exploratory front-end and back-end testing and contributing to the construction of tooling.
  • Performing code reviews on unit tests and developer-contributed code.
  • Assisting in establishing department-wide metrics, processes, and reporting.
  • Ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
  • Working independently on projects with self-determined tasks.

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineer or any related degree 
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in test automation
  • Proficiency in Cypress. Solid knowledge of testing methodologies and the QA process.
  • Proven experience in building and expanding test frameworks, including integration into CI/CD pipelines. Strong improvisational skills, resilience, and a proactive learning attitude. Demonstrable knowledge of SQL. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, at individual and team levels. 
  • Awareness or knowledge of IT security best practices as defined by ISO/SOC or similar.
