About the role

1. Participation in our monthly, quarterly, and annual closing process and reporting in a Nasdaq-traded company

2. Ensure and adhere to compliance with corporate guidance, procedures, and policies

3. Collaborate and liaise with the external audit team during the interim reports reviews and annual audits

4. Monitoring and reviewing the accuracy of financial data

5. Documentation of internal controls (SOX)

6. Assist in the preparation of the statutory financial statements and the tax returns.

7. Implementation and documentation of new accounting standards (IFRS)

8. Assist with special projects as required.

Requirements

CPA with a minimum of 4 years of experience (post-internship).
At least one role as an assistant controller outside the audit firm ( in a publicly traded company- significant advantage).
Vast experience with IFRS accounting standards. ( US GAP- an advantage).
Team player who, not afraid to “roll up their sleeves” and build, design, and implement procedures and processes from scratch.
Willing to work long hours.
Experience with Priority, SAP B1, or NetSuite ERP systems - an advantage.
Excellent Excel skills and ability to work with analysis, and vast knowledge of the consolidation of companies.
Detail-oriented with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
