Description

We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who’s equal parts strategic thinker and creative doer - someone ready to take ownership of our social presence and rethink how a cybersecurity company shows up online. You’ll work closely with GTM, content, and design to turn ideas into channel-specific, high-impact content - and you won’t hesitate to make a case for using Reddit, memes, influencers, or Instagram if that’s where the opportunity is.

 

This is a hands-on role with access to AI tools, agencies, and freelancers to help you scale your output and shape the voice of a brand speaking to some of the smartest people in security.


What You’ll Do

  • Own and execute our social media strategy across platforms (starting with LinkedIn and Twitter/X), with the freedom to test channels like Reddit, Instagram, and emerging formats.
  • Collaborate with GTM, content, and design teammates to turn ideas into platform-native content - threads, carousels, memes, short videos, and more.
  • Manage social media for the company brand as well as our founders and evangelists, while also enabling employees and HR with content that supports campaigns, hiring, and employer branding.
  • Create and maintain a clear, organized content calendar that aligns with product launches, GTM campaigns, and community moments.
  • Use AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Jasper, Midjourney) and external support (e.g. agencies, freelancers) to scale your output without sacrificing quality or creativity.
  • Monitor performance, run lightweight experiments, and continuously iterate based on data and engagement patterns.
  • Bring fresh, unconventional thinking to how a security brand can engage practitioners, decision-makers, and influencers online.
  • Stay plugged into the cybersecurity and B2B social space - tracking trends, emerging voices, and new opportunities to stand out.



Requirements

What We’re Looking For

  • You have 3 - 6 years of experience managing social media for a B2B brand - ideally in tech, cybersecurity, or a similarly fast-paced, product-led space.
  • You’re fluent in LinkedIn and Twitter/X, with a clear sense of how tone, timing, and formatting affect performance on each.
  • You write exceptionally well - short, punchy, high-context posts that feel native to the platform.
  • You’ve worked directly with founders, execs, or internal thought leaders to shape their voice and help them show up consistently online.
  • You’re confident working with AI tools, design collaborators, and freelancers to bring your ideas to life.
  • You’re not afraid of numbers or technical topics - you’re just as comfortable turning complex ideas or data into a clean chart or visual thread as you are creating a meme.
  • You think in threads, memes, carousels, and narrative arcs - not just posts.
