Position Overview
As the Director, Virtual Physician Partner Services, you will lead the Virtual Physician Partners (VPP’s) team including all training, process improvement, and operational aspects of a large team. In addition, you will be responsible for working with the Network Services leadership team as a key member in charting the success of N-Power with its Network customers. Your leadership will be instrumental in building a scalable and efficient VPP program that supports healthcare providers in delivering top-tier patient care.
In this senior management role, you will manage a fast-growing distributed team of VPP’s. You will oversee the recruitment, training, education, and execution of an evolving VPP service for a rapidly expanding pool of physicians within the N-Power Medicine Network. This role is responsible for monitoring and maintaining Network Partner satisfaction, developing quality and training standards, and working with the medical and technology teams to determine how emerging technology and equipment methods might enhance VPP performance including both productivity and quality. In this role you will be the bridge to prospective data collection from the VPP team to other members of the organization. You will partner closely with cross functional management to support hiring and continuous development for all VPP staff.
This role will work virtually with our Network Partner Physicians to learn clinic workflows and physician documentation preferences. You will work in partnership with the Network Management and cross functional Senior Management to ensure an appropriate training program and processes are maintained. In addition, you will oversee and implement innovative and novel strategies that might improve the quality and/or productivity of VPP services. You remain vigilant to evolving practice patterns to enable the VPP service to remain relevant and timely with a goal of fostering a culture of research and a highly satisfied physician community within the Network. Role Objectives and Responsibilities
-Oversee all activities within the VPP organization.
-Provide direct oversight, management, and mentoring of the Sr. Manager of VPP Operations and the Manager of VPP Quality, Training and Innovation.
-Hire and develop a world class virtual team of oncology VPP’s through coaching and mentorship supporting career growth and development.
-Maintain in-depth knowledge of VPP functions to provide targeted coaching, performance feedback, and direction to ensure operational excellence.
-Manage and mentor a virtual VPP team, fostering collaboration, performance, and professional development to achieve organizational goals.
-Ensure the VPP team’s adherence to company protocols, data quality standards, and regulatory compliance, particularly with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and site-specific SOPs.
-Build and foster strong and continuous engagement with physician partners in the VPP program, ensuring the program meets expectations.
-Collaborate with cross-functional leaders, including the Digital Health Specialists (also known as the on site research specialists), Clinical Operations, and Clinical Science team to ensure efficient screening of patients for clinical trials.
-Serve as a liaison between the VPP team, internal departments, and healthcare providers, fostering a culture of communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
-Partner with Human Resources to develop strategic growth plans, career ladder opportunities, and establish processes in support of managing staff (schedule coordination).

Education, Experience, Behavioral Competencies, & Skills
-8+ years as a medical scribe or equivalent experience including 2+ years in the field of oncology.
-3+ years of supervisory (direct management) experience.
-Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; and additional education such as an MPH or MBA recommended.
-Additional certifications in clinical research or GCP are advantageous.
-Experience managing and developing a distributed team in clinical roles.
-Proven track record of building and leading clinical programs, including the development and execution of training and quality programs.
-Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) and other healthcare technology platforms.
-Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate teams and influence senior stakeholders.
-Strategic thinker with the ability to adapt and thrive in complex, fast-evolving environments.
-Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail and the capability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay Information
The expected salary range for this position is $207,000 and $241,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. N-Power Medicine (NPM) offers equity at hire as well as a discretionary annual bonus which may be available based on Company performance. This position is eligible for company benefits.
