The Senior Director, Sales (ANZ) is a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager and Go-To-Market leader responsible for driving product and industry solutions bookings and facilitating Bookings, Revenue and Portfolio P&L governance of the Everbridge range of products. This individual has a deep understanding of technology and industry trends in order to drive sales execution, consultative solution selling, and field enablement of direct sales, channel and partner teams within ANZ and the wider APAC region as appropriate.
The primary responsibility of the leader in this role is to manage sales within the ANZ region, driving bookings and revenue for the company’s strategic products through its predominantly indirect sales channel. Additional responsibilities include the development of regional business plans, monitoring competitive activity, identifying emerging trends and customer needs, establishing pricing and demand generation strategies, as well as direct deal support in order to drive competitive advantage, revenue, and market share.
What you'll do:
The Senior Director, Sales (ANZ) will lead the ANZ sales team, and oversee all bookings and revenue within the ANZ region
People management activities (recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, training and development)
Responsible for achieving monthly / quarterly / annual revenue targets as agreed by the business
Continual Sales process development and monitoring – owning the end to end tracking of sales process and conversion rates through the sales funnel
Own the sales forecast by holding regular (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and ad-hoc sales pipeline reviews
Assists with deal conversion by active peer-to-peer coaching and win/loss deal reviews
Measure, monitor and report KPI’s as required by the business – production, analysis and interpretation of key sales data on both a regular and ad-hoc basis
Evaluation, identification and implementation of new initiatives that support sales and grow revenue
Initiate, develop and manage ad-hoc and ongoing partner activity as needed
Ensure consistent application of CRM across team
Work closely with Marketing to identify, develop and deploy demand generation activities across ANZ
Support speaking opportunities secured by marketing at regional conferences and events, intended to raise the profile of Everbridge within ANZ and the wider APAC region as appropriate
Participate in appropriate tradeshows, conferences, events, and industry association forums as within ANZ and the wider APAC region as appropriate
Serve as subject matter expert within ANZ and the wider APAC region as appropriate
What you'll bring:
Minimum Bachelors' degree in Business, Marketing or Finance preferred
10+ years of experience in Enterprise Software product strategy such as in Product Marketing, Product Management, Sales Enablement, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, or entrepreneurial role
Experience with Solution Selling, Sales and Account management, Sales Enablement and Field Support for product and solution campaigns
Technical background with the capability to deliver presentations and demos
Ability to creatively and technically Solution Map for prospects/customers’ use cases
Customer Facing Product Management or Sales Engineering background
Subject Matter Expertise on Sales motion on Enterprise class SaaS products or Industries’ domain expertise
Lead Client/Prospect Meetings
External spokesperson for company through Webinars, Panel participation, Partner Training
Understanding of financial aspects of the business and budget
Set strategy for team with Products and Domain vertical
Participate in M&A Activities
Strong understanding in working with Enterprise class SaaS based Software solutions with understanding of sales methodologies, sales motions and sales campaigns
Experience in supporting cross functional product launches, global go-to-market campaigns
Exceptional customer relationship skills, analytical skills; team oriented and self-motivated
Strong understanding of the book of business, P&L, costs.
Strong understanding of market verticals, domains and applying analytical techniques to manage the business
Exceptional communications skills, written and verbal and ability to present concepts, and ideas to a large group of people
