Engineer, Endpoint Operations

General Purpose of the Job

The IT Endpoint Engineer has primary responsibility for endpoint strategy and standards. They have experience in system administration of enterprise level computer management tools and provide expertise in system performance and capacity planning for all enterprise devices in the field. They should possess an extensive understanding of modern technology in order to review and select technical solutions to address business problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop solutions to complex issues, including those which require extensive research, analysis, critical thinking, collaboration, and precision in the execution in order to resolve-Maintain overall endpoint platform stability, security, and supportability

  • Work with business owners and end users to understand their operations and how endpoint technology solutions might improve workflow

  • Design, develop and implement projects and strategic plans to achieve IT goals

  • Provide research and recommendations related to problem resolution or process improvement of the endpoint device environment

  • Provide technical mentoring to peers and partner organizations

Education and Experience

  • Technical Certificate or Bachelor's Degree required.
  • 6-8 year's experience in Endpoint Operations preferred.

Specialized Experience, Education, Training, or Qualifications

  • Excellent knowledge of modern IT systems and technology (required)
  • 6 years or more of related IT experience (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer field or equivalent certification and experience (preferred)

Salary/ Wage Range

$62,200.00 - $91,300.00 / year

If a candidate is hired, they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.

New York Exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $64,350.00/year
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $64,350.00/year
• Remainder of New York state: $60,405.80/year

New York Non-exempt:
• New York City and Long Island: $16.50/hour
• Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester counties: $16.50/hour
• Remainder of New York state: $15.50/hour


Washington Exempt: $77,968.80/year

Washington Non-exempt:
• Bellingham: $17.66/hour
• Burien: $21.16/hour
• Unincorporated King County: $20.29/hour
• Renton: $20.90/hour
• Seattle: $20.76/hour
• Tukwila: $21.10/hour
• Remainder of Washington state: $16.66/hour
