POSITION SUMMAR

The Assistant Controller will manage the Accounting department with day-to-day operations and the execution of month-end close. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage budgets and strategic decision-making to optimize financial performance for the company. In addition, this role will shape the Accounting department's function within the company to add value to internal stakeholders

Responsibilitie

s:Manage daily accounting operations involving the G/L, Payroll, A/P, and A/R functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with GAAP for monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processe
s.Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analyses to assist strategic decision-making. Provide reporting packages to the senior leadership team and external stakeholders as requeste
d.Oversee the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Netsuite financial modules (G/L, A/P, A/R, ARM, and Reporting) and validate integrations with Salesforce, Concur, Bill.com and other third-party system
s.Ensure proper application of ASC 606 guidance in the Advanced Revenue Management module, and partnering with Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations to optimize deal structures and revenue policie
s.Lead the annual audit process by coordinating requests internally, creating schedules, and drafting financial statements for review by external auditor
s.Responsible for working with external tax consultants on federal and state tax compliance and reporting, including multi-state sales and use tax return
s.Provide mentorship and training for the accounting team to establish best practices, and foster collaboration and professional growth in a remote working environmen
t.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business, system, or process changes and their impacts on company operations and result
s.Maintain capitalization table in Carta for offerings, debt conversions, warrants and stock option grant
