Job description

Job Title:
Senior Account Manager- Industrial Elastomers

Summary:
The Senior Account Manager will drive regional sales and distribution for the Midwest Industrial Elastomers Segment within the AMR region. This role focuses on growing key accounts, securing new business, and building strong relationships with OEMs and molders across all relevant markets. The ideal candidate will execute strategic sales initiatives, promote product adoption, and contribute to overall market growth.

Responsibilities Include:
  • The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for executing a regional sales and distribution strategy for the Industrial Elastomers business.  Key responsibilities/expectations for this role will include:
  • Executing on appropriate sales strategies and tactics to win in the Midwest Industrial Elastomers market with targeted products.
  • Work with Global Marketing manager for key NPIs launches and identification of new NPIs to bring forward.
  • Responsible for maintaining existing accounts as well as identifying new targets and new OEMs to target
  • Driving growth at or above AOP target levels and accountability.
  • Drive Forecast Accuracy to ensure better planning and drive inventory control.
  • Work closely in conjunction with Product Management, Supply Chain & Marketing Teams to drive results via target product focus / NPI’s / strategic OEMs, and customers.
  • Effectively collecting market intelligence and feeding it back into Segment & Business leadership to drive strategic growth / price initiatives.
  • Utilize SalesForce.com CRM platform: Visit reports, contacts, market Intelligence, product pipeline, earned growth closes, and other key data to be recorded.
  • Identify and manage Key Accounts with a plan to grow and strengthen the relationships. 
  • Travel to our customers, distributors, and other responsibilities will be required
  • To be successful, this role will work closely with the Regional Commercial Leader and the Global Marketing Director. Strong ability to work in matrix organization.

  • 10+yrs commercial/marketing outside sales experience in the chemical industry
  • Bachelor's degree

Travel is up to 50%

Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Chemical Engineering or other engineering degree
  • 10+ yrs relevant experience in the Elastomers industry.

What We Offer:
Base Pay Range: $115,000 - $168,850

The actual salary offered is determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, skill sets, and geography. Additionally, this role is eligible for incentive or sales variable compensation payments. The amount of these incentives is based on the terms of the Company's incentive plans, the Company's financial performance, and/or individual employee job performance.
