Nansen is looking for a mission-driven and operationally-minded Interim People Operations Manager to cover an 8-month maternity leave. In this high-impact role, you’ll ensure continuity across key People programs while our Senior People Operations Manager and VP of People & Programs are on leave.

If you’re the kind of person who thrives behind the scenes—bringing clarity to chaos and helping People Ops hum—this one’s for you.

💼 What You’ll Do

You’ll report to our Principal People Partner (stepping in as Interim Head of People) and work cross-functionally with Finance and Operations to support the larger Nansen team.

Your main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate with Finance and Principal People Partner (PPP) on compensation calculations and approvals
  • Schedule and facilitate sessions alongside the PPP
  • Manage communications, letters, and stakeholder updates post-calibration
🧩 People Operations
  • Maintain our HRIS (BambooHR), people admin, and employee lifecycle processes (e.g. employment contracts, people reports request, onboarding, exits, changes)
  • Support monthly payroll prep for direct hires and EORs
  • Triage employee queries and direct to appropriate points of contact
  • Monitor benefits administration, ESOP documentation workflows, and handle insurance renewal
  • Run Q3 and Q4 Impact Bonus processes and Singapore Ministry of Manpower reporting
🧑‍💻 Recruiting Coordination
  • Support scheduling and candidate experience
  • Maintain job postings and hiring pipelines
  • Flag delays and coordinate updates with the PPP
🧠 Project Management (People Programs)
  • Collaborate with our Executive Assistant & Program Coordinator on the logistics and coordination for the October Leads Summit
  • Liaise with stakeholders, finalise agendas, and manage session timelines
  • Keep Notion updated with clear ownership and progress tracking
