Virtual Account Executives are focused on acquisition and developing a customer portfolio including opportunities, new logo prospects and maintaining existing accounts. Effectively spending 70% of the time on selling and 30% on supporting tasks such as network quotes, participate in tenders and other related tasks for the respective Account Executives.
Virtual Sales Tasks
Gain new customers and business: Get additional orders in the pipeline.
Actively seeks out and develops new customers.
Proactively contacting the existing clients to maximize business potential.
Processing new leads provided by Operations Team.
Generate new sales leads and opportunities
Acquisition and developing own customer portfolio
Provide consistent interaction with existing customers.
Ensures company products, services, rates, pertinent policies and operational changes are communicated to customers on a timely basis
Maintain and builds account relationships.
Maximizing the gross profit by negotiating with the supplier base.
Extensive client liaison and negotiation.
Represents the Company at industry trade shows and conferences.
Other tasks
Maintains all information about customers, including all contact information and call reports, accurately and timely in CRM (Salesforce).
Managing the jobs from quotation stage to booking in line with the client expectations and communicating effectively any service issues.
Manage and follow-up on network quotes.
Internal liaison with the operations team assisting with quotations and service information.
Support and be involved in tenders
Prepare monthly (activity) reports
Assist in obtaining credit information and perform collecting activities as required.
Issuing and implementing customer specific SOP’s for origin and destination offices
