Job description

Role Overview
We’re looking for an L2 Technical IT Engineer to help keep things running smoothly across Azure cloud services, Windows Server systems, and Kubernetes environments. You’ll be handling issues that L1 engineers escalate, making sure systems stay secure, updated, and working as expected. If you love solving problems, keeping things organized, and working with different tech, this role might be for you!

Key Responsibilities
Fix Stuff: Troubleshoot and resolve Azure, Windows Server, and Kubernetes issues—because keeping things running is what you do best.
Help Manage Kubernetes (AKS): Assist with configurations, monitoring, and scaling so applications stay healthy.
Keep Secrets Safe: Handle application secret management, making sure credentials don’t expire and cause problems.
Backups & Recovery: Set up and maintain backup solutions to prevent data loss and keep recovery plans in place.
Patch & Secure Systems: Apply OS updates and security patches to Azure VMs and Windows Servers.
Antivirus Management: Make sure security software is installed and up to date.
Monitoring & Alerts: Keep an eye on Azure Monitor, Grafana, and Kubernetes metrics so issues don’t slip through the cracks.
Network & OS Troubleshooting: Solve connectivity issues, server glitches, and performance problems before they impact users.
Manage, maintain and troubleshoot Windows Server environments across physical and virtual platforms.
File System Capacity & CPU and Memory Performance Management.
Perform system upgrades, patch management, and capacity planning.
Teamwork & Documentation: Work with offshore teams and keep track of fixes, processes, and best practices.

Technical Expertise Required
Solid understanding of Azure services (VMs, Networking, Storage, Identity).
Experience managing Windows Server environments (patching, Active Directory, backups).
Familiarity with Kubernetes (AKS), including deployments and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with application secret management and security compliance.
Some exposure to Infrastructure as Code (IaC), like Terraform.
Good troubleshooting skills—if something breaks, you know how to fix it!

What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience.
Experience: 4–6 years working with Azure, Windows Server, and Kubernetes.
Certifications: Azure Fundamentals or Administrator Associate is great; Kubernetes certification is a plus!
Communication Skills: Able to clearly explain problems and solutions to technical and non-technical people.
