ABOUT THIS ROLE 

Reporting to the Vice President of Information Services, we are seeking a Senior Technical Product Manager to drive the roadmap execution, and delivery of complex software products and platforms for our Bovine IVF ADVANCE product. This role bridges the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring product initiatives are scalable, secure, and customer-centric. You will lead cross-functional teams through the entire product lifecycle—from ideation and planning to execution and delivery—with a strong focus on systems thinking, API design, data architecture, and platform scalability. 



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Own and define the roadmap and product strategy for a portfolio of technical products or platform services. 
  • Manage backlog prioritization, sprint planning, and trade-off decisions for development teams. 
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, security, and operations to prioritize and deliver features aligned with business goals. 
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed product specifications and user stories. 
  • Drive API product development and data integration strategies in coordination with internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Partner with internal customers (e.g., operations, data science, or customer success teams) to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions. 
  • Ensure technical and architectural decisions align with long-term platform strategy and scale. 
  • Monitor KPIs, user feedback, and system performance to guide future iterations and improvements. 
  • Champion agile best practices and product management methodologies across teams. 
  • Be accountable for shaping the direction and success of our Vytelle.io SaaS application, CRM, ERP, their integrations and other IS applications as required. 
  • Be accountable for managing all VARs and Integration Partners. 
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, sponsors and customers to develop roadmaps and project charters in order to deliver value to our users and business.

  • Program/Project Development Skills:

  • Experience in SaaS, e-commerce, is an asset. 
  • Strong proficiency in product management/development tools like JIRA, Confluence, Figma, Productboard, etc. 

IS APPLICATION SKILLS: 

  • Custom Web Application software principles and practices. 
  • CRM principles and practices. 
  • ERP principles and practices. 
  • Other business primacy applications like HRIS, BI, etc. 
  • Web app integration principles and practices. 
  • Solid understanding of data privacy standards and security protocols. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 3-5+ years working in the Bovine IVF, Cattle, Dairy and/or BioTech industries (preferred) 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Agriculture Sciences or related field. 
  • BONUS: If you started out as a software developer and have experience in product management or are looking for this role as your next career progression 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in product management, with a demonstrated track record of delivering successful products. 
  • 1-3+ years as a certified PMP, preferably from any industry. 
  • 3-5+ years’ experience running or working within an Agile/Scrum environment and or Certified Scrum Master or other product management certifications. 
  • 3-5+ years creating and managing software development stories and epics. 
  • 2-3+ years documenting and leading teams to document the product development processes and key technical elements in a corporate WIKI. 
  • Fluent in English required - both written and verbal communication 
  • Portuguese proficiency is a plus - helpful for communicating with various stakeholders. 

OPTIONAL QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Experience with cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure), DevOps tooling, or observability stacks. 
  • Familiarity with security and compliance requirements (e.g., SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR). 
  • Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • Prior startup or high-growth environment experience is an asset.
