Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React/Node.js)

We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join the development of a high-performance, multi-branded B2C entertainment platform. This is a hands-on role focused on building scalable systems, modern user-facing portals, and robust backend services, with full ownership across the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in designing and delivering a scalable, flexible platform by shaping both front-end and back-end architecture.
• Build and evolve a static site generation (SSG) portal integrated with games and headless CMS features using React, Next.js, and Apollo.
• Develop stable and efficient GraphQL APIs to support front-end components and CMS functionality.
• Improve platform performance and maintainability through ongoing code optimisation and system refactoring.
• Manage the full development workflow, including requirement analysis, deployment, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate within the team, contribute to shared technical decisions, and support peers through mentorship and knowledge exchange.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience working on high-load commercial projects.
• Advanced skills in JavaScript (ES6+), React, Next.js, Apollo, and CSS-in-JS (e.g., Material UI).
• Solid experience with Node.js, RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL), and Redis.
• Familiarity with search technologies such as Meilisearch or Elasticsearch.
• Experience in code performance analysis, SEO, and optimisation for mobile and desktop browsers.
• Proven experience in automated testing, feature toggling, code reviews, and other CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency with GitLab, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Confidence in mentoring team members and sharing knowledge.
• Proactive approach and accountability in technical decisions.
• At least Intermediate level of English.

Will be a plus:

• Experience working on multi-brand cross-platform products.
• Familiarity with Strapi, Apollo Federation, Immutable.js, Lodash, and Storybook.
• Hands-on experience with Rush.js or similar monorepo solutions, and pnpm.
• Exposure to DevOps tools and workflows: Nginx, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Helm.
• Understanding of JAMstack architecture.
• Performance optimisation experience on both client and server sides.
• Knowledge of Trunk-Based Development practices.
