The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for providing customer satisfaction through technical service, installation, operation and repair of specialized equipment. This role must also ensure compliance of operations within areas of concern with all relevant EHS regulatory requirements and SCIEX safety policies, procedures and guidelines. This position reports to the Senior Service Manager and is part of the Service team located in Korea and will be fully remote.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Undertake product installation on client premises and rectify problems or proposed solutions for repairs to be made
Schedule and carry out planned maintenance calls and perform regular customer visits
Monitor repairs in terms of the organization’s service / warranty cover and make suggestions as to product improvements including recommending spare parts needs and assisting with monitoring equipment
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry or equivalent
At least 5 years of relevant Service experience in the Life Sciences industry
Good track record of successful technical experience in the relevant industry
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Possessing a valid driver’s license is highly desirable.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
The ability to build, maintain and nurture long term relationships with customers
Ability to speak Korean due to the need to support customers in Korea.
