Job Summary

The marketing specialist supports the DSA marketing teams in their strategic efforts by both leading and supporting on initiatives for key segments including the crops and chemicals segment and pharma and biotech segments. The marketing specialist provides critical support to the wider team, expanding the team’s overall capacity and bandwidth to deliver lead generation campaigns to drive inbound enquiries plus nurturing campaigns to drive conversion, supporting closed-won business.

 

A focus on digital marketing is essential to further support the movement of leads through the customer journey. In addition, this role supports the BD/AM teams in their work with current and prospective clients with sales enablement tools and marketing support for sales initiatives such as site events. 
 
We are seeking a Senior, Marketing Specialist for our Marketing group. This position can be located remotely in Europe.
 

Core Tasks and Responsibilities

 

  • Develop, implement, and optimize digital marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media, display advertising, and customer feedback surveys based on in depth analysis of data, insights, and customer behavior.
  • Manage the planning, organization and execution of marketing materials, brochures, and web content, in support of companywide services, in alignment with other marketing team members. 
  • Collaborate and assist with event manager on virtual and in-person event projects (webinars, seminars, workshops, chapter events, conferences, etc.) 
  • Monitor performance, evaluate effectiveness, quantify ROI and optimize for future projects
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales managers to develop account-based marketing campaigns 
  • Utilise Salesforce.com and Pardot to monitor, advance opportunity status progression and review/report on completed projects
  • Understand our customer journey and experience, by analyzing outcomes of strategic initiatives and tactics in an effort to suggest improvements that support further lead conversions through our digital tools and applications.
  • Ensure a competent and professional image to the customer and an accurate portrayal of business strategies both on the phone, email and at customer events.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of all company product lines with more in-depth knowledge of business segment that is being supported.
  • Identify and create synergistic marketing programs that cross product and business unit lines.
  • Identify trends and insights; optimize spend and performance as needed.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

•    Education:  Bachelor’s degree (B.A /B.S.) or equivalent in marketing, business or related discipline.
•    Solid grounding of related experience in marketing or customer services.
•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute.
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•    Digital marketing experience
•    Resourceful and self-starter
