Job description

As a Java Software Engineer - Remote role, you will contribute to a strategic IT project focused on enhancements to a backend system related to collateral management, you will implement functional changes in a Java-based connectivity module built with Spring Framework and you will ensure full integration of new components without disrupting the integrity of the existing solution.

Responsabilities:

Participate in Agile refinement and estimation sessions.
Develop new functionalities based on detailed business and technical specifications.
Ensure complete test coverage for all developed features (TDD/BDD).
Maintain and adapt automated test cases as needed.
Actively engage in code reviews and continuous release processes.
Acquire in-depth knowledge of the business domain through hands-on work with TRM functionalities

Technical skills:

Minimum of 11 years in Java software development.
Proven expertise in Java (preferably Java 17).
Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.
Demonstrated experience in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).
Familiarity with ComKit libraries (Java implementation of WSS).
Experience working with REST APIs, Kafka, MQ, and automated testing environments.

Profile :

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Business Management, or a related field.
Ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English is required, French is an asset.
