Responsibilities
Reporting to the Vice President of Business Development, this role is responsible for partnering with the Business Development Executive and Marketing team to curate, contact and generate warm leads and opportunities to schedule first meeting opportunities. The Sales Development Rrep will qualify warm sales opportunities. This role is responsible to assisting the Business Development Executive in analyzing current data and curating meeting decks to support the solution presentations. The individual will contribute to SMS annual net new client revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as champion for supporting an accountable growth and corporate culture
- Curate and maintain contact lists from various sources in Salesforce based on market strategies set forth by the Business Development Executives
- Identify and qualify potential leads to build pipeline
- Research prospects to understand their current buying position, company updates, benefit and health plan information, and membership market locations
- Maintain and report on all pipeline activities and interactions through Salesforce
- Collaborate with the Business Development team on handing off qualified leads
- Support the Business Development team in understanding the client data analysis and populating template sales decks for client presentations and value positioning
- File and manage opportunity data requests with data science team
- Manage goals for qualified lead generation and conversion
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 1 years+ sales experience in generating and qualifying pipeline and/or equivalent experience in solution value propositions
- Proven client or sales success within health care industry
- Understanding and ability to infer data sets through Excel and/or Tableau
- Active ability to contribute to corporate culture in a positive manner
- Knowledge in employer benefit and health plan capabilities a plus (e.g., advocacy, second opinion services, care management, care delivery)
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Efficient at material creation and iteration
- Creative and passionate
