We’re looking for an experienced Manager, Global Strategic Sales to fill this remote role which reports to our Seattle office. In this pivotal role, you’ll spearhead the global expansion of Holland America Line & Seabourn Consumer Programs department and serve as the primary liaison with a third-

party vendor. This requires a dynamic individual capable of managing complex, multifaceted responsibilities in a international business environment. You’ll be responsible driving growth, enhancing staffing, maximizing sales bookings, and boosting revenue while overseeing the lead qualification process for each region. You’ll also ensure effective collaboration, training, recruitment, and communication with upper management across multiple regions, ultimately contributing to the company's international revenue targets for dual brands.

Responsibilities

  • Foster a strong working relationship with the third-party vendor, ensuring adherence to contract terms and delivering on partnership objectives.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy to expand the company's international presence, identifying new markets, regions, and potential partners.
  • Develop and implement plans to achieve revenue targets through effective sales strategies, targeted market segmentation and product positioning with leads (Promotions and campaigns).
  • Set and monitor sales booking targets for each region, working closely with manager and key regional payers to achieve and exceed these goals.
  • Establish and maintain a lead qualification process for each region, optimizing lead generation and conversion to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Oversee the recruitment and training of international sales teams, ensuring a talented and motivated workforce is in place to drive success.
  • Facilitate efficient communication and collaboration with upper management across various regions, ensuring alignment with the overall business strategy and objectives.
  • Implement and maintain a system for tracking and reporting on key performance indicators, sharing insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

  • Bachelors degree and equivalent experience in related field.
  • Minimum of two (2) year of lead experience directing and managing individuals or a team.
  • Previous experience leading and managing sales teams in a high-volume sales environment.
  • Proven success as a sales representative as measured by level of sales performance against established goals and objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve issues related to global expansion, lead qualification processes, and regional sales strategies.
  • Strong verbal, interpersonal and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with management, agents and guests in multiple locations of the business.
  • Must be adept at identifying and addressing challenges in collaboration, training, recruitment, and communication with upper management across multiple regions.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and strong demonstrated work ethic.
  • Excellent time management, collaboration, problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Well versed using integrated coaching strategies to provide real-time observations to coach the agents to make the most out of every call.
  • Self-motivated, coachable and a logical thinker.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability and proven success influencing and motivating others.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Holland America is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of employment visas at this time (e.g., H-1B status).

  • Base Salary Range: $75,300.00-$90,000.00. The range is applicable for the labor market where the role is intended to be hired. Final base salary is directly related to each candidates' qualifications and experience uniquely.
