Job description

Senior Digital Planner

(LATAM-Based | Remote | USD Compensation)

At Near, we help top talent in Latin America find remote roles with US companies. Our mission is to create better lives by fostering a remote work culture that transcends borders.

This is a role to join our US-based client, a programmatic digital agency to provide advanced analytics and help their clients optimize towards the best-performing audiences.

We’re looking for a Digital Planner to join our client’s fast-growing, fully remote team. If you’re passionate about designing bold digital strategies, love optimizing campaigns across top-tier platforms, and thrive in a collaborative environment—this role is for you.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend at least 50% of your time on media planning and the rest on execution, research, and optimizations across digital channels. You’ll work alongside a team of growth marketers, sales strategists, and customer success leads to craft and launch campaigns that deliver real results.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and execute digital media plans across programmatic, display, native video, streaming, and social channels.
  • Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize for ROI and engagement using tools like DV360 and other DSPs.
  • Collaborate closely with the Growth and Customer Success teams to bring strategies to life, from planning to launch and performance analysis.
  • Contribute to client proposals and new business pitches, aligning media strategy with client goals.
  • Track trends, competitor activity, and new technology to produce actionable recommendations.
  • Support and mentor junior team members with the opportunity to grow into a team lead role.

Must-Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in media planning or digital strategy at a digital marketing or advertising agency.
  • Hands-on experience planning and managing campaigns across multiple digital channels: programmatic, display, native, video, streaming, and social.
  • Proficiency with tools like DV360, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and other DSPs.
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort with Excel and PowerPoint for planning and client presentations.
  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team.
  • Fluent in English (C1 Level).
  • Experience using performance data to analyze and optimize campaigns.
  • Based in LATAM, with availability to work U.S. business hours and observe U.S. holidays.
  • Comfortable working in a remote, collaborative environment.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Familiarity with media planning tools like Sonder, Yuhu, or similar.
  • Former team leads interested in a more hands-on role or mid-level candidates ready for growth.
  • Background working closely with sales or growth teams on campaign strategy.
  • Experience building and delivering client-facing reports or media decks.

Why Join Us

  • Fully remote role open to LATAM-based professionals.
  • Competitive USD-based compensation that reflects your experience and contributions + Bonuses
  • Flexible hours and a results-driven culture.
  • 21 vacation days and 10 sick days per year, in addition to U.S. holidays.
  • Growth-oriented environment with opportunities to advance.
  • A supportive, collaborative team and a company that values autonomy, trust, and impact.

If you're excited about building strategic media plans and making an impact across fast-moving digital campaigns, we'd love to hear from you.
