Our Team:
Cimpress is creating a new business called Cimpress Open whose mandate will be to excel at serving customers via third-party channels. We will partner with companies that have strong customer relationships with end-customers who need mass-customized print products. In its initial stage, Cimpress Open will pursue opportunities with digital design software partners and established ecommerce marketplace platforms. This approach will evolve and expand over time as we establish a presence in these new segments.
We are a data-driven, customer-first eCommerce company with a rapidly expanding global presence across both B2B and B2C markets. Specializing in custom print products, we serve customers via leading platforms like Amazon and other eCommerce marketplaces. As we scale, we are seeking a strategic and results-driven Product Operations Lead to ensure smooth internal product activation, stock management, and cross-functional collaboration to bring our products to market efficiently.
What You Will Do:
- Internal Product Activation: Manage the end-to-end process of internal product activation, sourcing via MCP businesses to ensure product availability aligns with category manager selection strategies
- Product Ops Management: Oversee the creation, management, and optimization of PRDs (backend merchandising SKUs) as the internal merchandising layer to ensure product data is mapped and ready for merchandising
- Stock and Availability Management: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure product availability and stock levels align with merchandising goals, supporting both B2B and B2C channels
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the point of contact between category managers, business product management teams, and fulfillment teams to ensure smooth product setup and alignment with demand
- Process Improvement: Seek ways to continuously improve and streamline operational processes to ensure faster value delivery to customers, with an emphasis on reliability and minimizing errors in product setup
- Incident Management: Proactively identify and resolve potential setup issues, ensuring a minimum 98% first-time-right rate for test orders, and document and run retrospectives for incidents related to product reliability
Your Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in product operations, SKU management, or eCommerce merchandising
- Proven success working with internal tools like MCP tools, Amazon Seller Central, and fulfillment platforms
- Strong experience in managing product data, stock availability, and internal product activation processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as category managers, product managers, and fulfillment teams
- Strong analytical mindset, with proficiency in marketplace dashboards and BI tools
- Experience in handling product data and ensuring seamless merchandising processes
- Familiarity with printing technologies and custom print product offerings
Nice to Have
- Experience in launching and managing new product categories in both B2B and B2C environments
- Exposure to process improvement initiatives and driving operational efficiencies
- Experience with incident management processes and driving product reliability improvements
