The Solution Engineer is a cornerstone of Arcadia’s sales process, serving as the strategic and technical partner to our sales team, leadership, and clients. This role bridges the gap between client needs and Arcadia’s innovative healthcare data and analytics platform, ensuring our solutions align with the complex challenges of today’s healthcare landscape.
By bringing deep healthcare expertise and a consultative approach, the Solution Engineer plays a critical role in:
- Showcasing the impact of Arcadia’s platform through tailored demos and solutioning
- Translating client challenges into actionable use cases, aligning Arcadia’s capabilities with their strategic goals
- Engaging with stakeholders to address follow-up questions, solve problems, and clarify technical details
- Collaborating with subject matter experts across the organization to deliver accurate, insightful, and high-value solutions
This role is vital for helping prospective and existing clients fully understand the transformative potential of Arcadia’s solutions, while empowering our sales team to succeed in a competitive and dynamic healthcare landscape.
What Success Looks Like
In 3 months
- Complete all necessary onboarding and training sessions
- Attend introductory meetings with key teams (Sales, Product, Customer Success)
- Review existing sales materials and demo environments
- Start building relationships with key internal stakeholders
- Complete and pass the 12 week Solution Engineer Credentialling Course
In 6 months
- Participate in client meetings and product demonstrations with senior team members as needed
- Successfully lead a full complex product demonstration independently of increasing complexity
- Gain a deeper technical understanding of how the product integrates into healthcare workflows (e.g., EHRs, population health tools)
- Stay updated on industry standards like HL7, FHIR, and interoperability
- Understand key healthcare industry trends, regulations, and challenges (e.g., CMS guidelines, ACOs, payer-provider collaborations)
- Provide input on sales enablement materials or demo improvements
- Share field insights with the product team to influence roadmap discussions
In 12 months
- Lead a complex deal cycle independently
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of demos and the demo environments
- Collaborate with leadership to align on key opportunities and challenges for the upcoming year
- Provide data-backed recommendations to refine the sales process, product offerings, or market approach
What You'll Be Doing
Client Engagement and Sales Support
Act as a market-facing subject matter expert on Arcadia’s solutions, effectively demonstrating the capabilities and benefits of our platform to healthcare audiencesSupport technical aspects of sales pursuits including customer education, product demonstrations, and solution briefings, with a focus on healthcare-specific scenariosActively support and lead deal discovery sessions with key prospect stakeholders, identifying their unique needs and challenges, and effectively mapping our solutions to their specific requirements to drive successful sales engagementsGuide customers and prospects through the transition process from sales to implementation, ensuring a smooth and informed transition
Demonstration and Presentation Development
Leverage PPT decks/slides and the demo environment to convey complex technical concepts and value propositions in an accessible and persuasive mannerDevelop and write clear, concise, and effective demo scripts tailored to various audiences, showcasing the features and benefits of our solutions while addressing specific client needs and scenariosDocument and catalogue customer use cases and outcomes, contributing to the ongoing refinement of demo best practices
Collaboration and Process Optimization
Collaborate with internal teams to standardize processes and handoffs, enhancing efficiency across business functionsActively collaborate with the cross-functional Arcadia teams (Product, Data Management, Operations, etc.) to optimize our demo environment and ensure our demonstrations are highly effective, relevant, and reflective of the latest healthcare industry needs and technological advancements
Marketing and Networking
Network with prospects at conferences and events, establishing yourself as an expert in value-based care analytics, healthcare data technology, and Arcadia’s solutionsProvide input and expertise in the creation of healthcare-focused sales and marketing materials
Market Awareness and Strategic Consultation
