Job Description:

The Enterprise and Infrastructure Architect is responsible for designing and maintaining the organization’s enterprise-wide IT infrastructure and architecture. This role ensures alignment between business goals and IT strategy, enabling secure, scalable, and cost-effective systems and platforms. The architect will work cross-functionally to define standards, evaluate emerging technologies, and guide long-term architectural direction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Enterprise Architecture Strategy

  • Define and evolve the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop standards, guidelines, and principles for IT systems and infrastructure.

Infrastructure Architecture

  • Design and oversee the implementation of on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructure solutions.
  • Ensure reliability, scalability, security, and performance across all platforms.

Emerging Technology Trends and Practices

  • Applies deep understanding of emerging technologies and architectural best practices to evaluate, prototype, and recommend scalable solutions aligned with enterprise IT strategy and strategic business objectives.

Technology Integration

  • Collaborate with application architects, security teams, and DevOps to ensure seamless integration across systems.
  • Evaluate current systems and recommend improvements or new technologies.

Governance & Compliance

  • Establish architecture governance frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, internal policies, and cybersecurity best practices.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for executives.
  • Lead architecture review boards and provide thought leadership to cross-functional teams.
  • Leads the resolution of technical issues, ensuring timely and effective outcomes while maintaining a strong focus on customer follow-up and service quality.

Project Oversight

  • Provide architectural oversight on major IT initiatives and transformation projects.
  • Assist in vendor evaluation and management for infrastructure services.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in an architectural role.
  • Experience in both enterprise and infrastructure architecture domains.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, storage, compute, and security frameworks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools like TOGAF, Zachman Framework, or similar.
  • Experience with virtualization, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.

Preferred Certifications:

  • TOGAF, GCP/Azure/AWS Professional or Solutions Architect, ITIL, or similar architecture/IT certifications.

  • Job Grade: 30H

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,080/year to $246,600/year. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to, market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and education/training and a candidate’s work experience. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance. ​
