Job description

About the team
Technology and data are integral to Zillow Group's operations. The Fintech Product Management team drives this transformation by innovating within critical corporate functions: Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Tax (FLAT).

We collaborate closely with the FLAT organization to develop solutions, from custom AI-powered platforms to best-in-class SaaS integrations. Our efforts help Zillow scale efficiently, reduce risk, and modernize legacy systems through advanced product development

About the role

We seek a strategic and execution-focused Fintech Product Leader to drive the vision and roadmap for FLAT systems at Zillow. This high-impact role will lead a team of product managers and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver intelligent, automated solutions that enable FLAT teams to operate at scale.

You will work with Finance, Legal, Accounting, and Tax stakeholders to address their most complex challenges, such as developing smarter tax calculation engines, predictive treasury models, AI-assisted legal workflows, and automated audit and compliance systems.

A primary focus will be driving AI integration across FLAT systems, from proof-of-concept to scalable deployment. You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and risk teams to define business requirements, evaluate model performance, and ensure outcomes meet high regulatory standards.

You Will Get To
  • Lead a team of product managers and own the roadmap for fintech products supporting FLAT operations.

  • Define and execute product strategies that automate, enhance, and scale corporate financial and compliance workflows.

  • Champion AI-driven solutions to reduce manual processes, minimize errors, and accelerate month-end close.

  • Work with engineering and data science teams to turn complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.

  • Drive vendor evaluations and manage SaaS integrations as needed (e.g., Workday Finance, tax platforms, compliance tools).

  • Establish product KPIs and success metrics that align with FLAT goals.

  • Lead discovery and cross-functional alignment efforts for high-impact initiatives involving data, legal, risk, and finance stakeholders.

  • Ensure interoperability, data traceability, and compliance across all systems and workflows.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $187,100.00 - $298,900.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.

Who you are
  • 5+ years as a Product leader, leading product managers, operating in an Agile development environment, working across the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

  • 6+ years’ FinTech product management experience.

  • Proven experience leading AI-powered or data-driven product development from ideation to launch.

  • Deep understanding of corporate finance, accounting, tax, or legal operations and how technology can transform them.

  • Ability to think in systems and drive outcomes across cross-functional stakeholder groups.

  • Experience working with SaaS tools, custom-built platforms, and AI/ML models.

  • Strong stakeholder management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
