General Description:
The Director of Strategic Pricing, Hematology will manage all pricing and contracting activities for BeOne Hematology inline products. This leadership role involves managing a team of direct reports and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strategic pricing decisions and price reporting operations. This role will also be responsible for price policy / legislation impact analytics and forecasting, support hematology pipeline pricing work, and make recommendations in response. This individual will collaborate closely with Market Access Leadership, MA HQ teams, MA field teams, Global Commercial Strategy and Operations (GCSO) and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure pricing objectives are supported by business rationale, manage pricing approval processes, and successfully implement pricing strategies. This role will report to the Executive Director, Head of U.S. Pricing, Contracting, and Pipeline Strategy
Essential Functions of the job:
Develop and implement pricing and contracting strategies for BeOne Hematology inline products, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market environment.
Manage and lead a team, providing guidance and support to foster a high-performing team environment.
Oversee contracting processes, ensuring compliance and alignment with strategic goals.
Analyze market trends and competitive pricing insights, conduct pricing & contracting related market research to inform strategic pricing decisions and identify opportunities for optimization.
Understand and assess the impact of policy, government pricing regulations, EOM, IRA, and GTN on pricing strategies, and collaborate with relevant internal and external stakeholders to address these impacts.
Partner with Hematology Early Access Lead and Global Commercial Strategy and Operations (GCSO) to support Hematology pipeline pricing strategy and provide insights and recommendations based on U.S. price policy / legislation changes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Sales, Legal and Compliance, Global Operations & Business Analytics, and Finance to optimize pricing strategies and review / manage contracts.
Support and prepare materials for the U.S. pricing committee discussions.
Monitor and report on pricing performance, making adjustments as necessary to achieve business objectives.
Prepare and present detailed reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and C-suite executives, facilitating informed decision-making.
Build and maintain strong relationships with counterparts in Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional members.
Education & Experience Required:
BA/BS Degree required; Advanced degree preferred.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Biological Sciences, or related discipline with 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech and/or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on pricing strategy or market access.
MA/MS/MBA with 7+ years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotech and/or healthcare industry, with a strong focus on pricing strategy or market access.
5+ years of direct experience in oncology product pricing strategy, managed care contracting strategy in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
Expertise in market access dynamics and pricing landscapes, including a deep understanding of pricing and provider economics, reimbursement models, and government pricing regulations.
Experience in commercial launches is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute market access pricing strategies for new products.
Strong presentation and communication skills - with exceptional aptitude for learning quickly and ability to communicate technical concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.
Ability to network across a broad internal and external matrix organization and the skills necessary to form strong, productive partnerships and build consensus and acumen.
Strategic thinking with the ability to understand broader market dynamics and translate insights into actionable strategies. Ability to evaluate the impact of regulatory, legislative, or contracting changes on pricing and business performance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong presentation skills to leadership and C-suite management and external stakeholders.
Experience in hematology and oral oncolytic is preferred.
Flexible, adaptable, diplomatic, and able to effectively deal with ambiguity.

Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships across all key internal & external stakeholders, including executive management.

Supervise direct reports in the areas of provider and payer contracting
Travel:
Ability to travel 15-25% domestic (Post-Covid requirement).

Salary Range: $175,400.00 - $235,400.00 annually

Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
