European Regional Account Manager

Crowcon Detection Instruments Ltd. is looking to recruit to the Sales department a Regional Account Manager to contribute to delivering company growth goals in Europe.

What will you be doing?

  • Achieve consistent growth and hit sales revenue/profit targets through targeted sales activities.
  • Design and implement a regional business plan that expands the company’s customer base and creates sustainable growth across the product, systems and service portfolio.
  • Own key opportunities and accounts where appropriate.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Field based and customer facing, essential that the Regional Sales manager spends major proportion of time with customers, driving the sales cycle, supporting our channel partners and attaining specification.
  • Complete and maintain Key Account plans for all distribution partners and key end users.
  • Provide regular and timely reports and feedback on the sectors, including forecast information and updates on key opportunities.
  • Drive personal & channel performance through effective sales processes & KPI’s.
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
  • Act as the escalation & resolution point for customer issues.
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, influencing business strategy to support further success.

Your skills & experience

Essential

  • Experience in a related industrial market such as instrumentation, automation or gas detection.
  • Experience of managing business growth through distribution channels.
  • Proven track record of achievement.
  • Experience of working with CRM & business systems.
  • A thorough understanding of sales & aftersales processes and environment.
  • Excellent planning, time management and organisation skills.
  • A high level of communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to produce well written reports and business plans/ proposals.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of their time in support of the duties.

Desirable

  • A sound knowledge of gas detection applications or detection monitoring systems.
  • Technical and/or business qualification or similar level of experience, with commitment to continued professional development.
  • Fluent in multiple languages.
  • Knowledge of the Customer Service environment.
