CareDx is looking for a Technical Product Manager to lead the development of cutting-edge HLA genotyping software solutions for pre-transplant matching. Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Vision and Strategy – Define tactics to deliver on the long-term vision, strategy, and roadmap, in alignment with company goals.
  • Technical Expertise – Possess a strong technical background to understand the feasibility and technical aspects of diagnostic software development.
  • Requirements Gathering and Prioritization – Collaborate with internal teams and customers to gather requirements, prioritize features, and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Technical Risk Assessment – Evaluate and mitigate technical risks throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration – Work closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure successful software development and launch.
  • Product Performance Monitoring – Analyze product performance data, user behavior, and other metrics to inform product decisions and identify areas for improvement
  • Voice of Customers – Gather insights on customer pain points and needs, test software with customers to ensure product experience is meeting needs
  • Communication and Stakeholder Management – Communicate the product vision, roadmap, and progress to stakeholders, including internal teams and external customers.
  • Documentation and Training – Facilitate the creation and maintenance of product documentation and provide internal and customer training on product usage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Life Sciences, Medical Technology, Biology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of product management experience in diagnostic software development and/or development. Understanding of clinical end-user needs in diagnostic software development.
  • Hands-on experience in diagnostic software management.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organizational and execution skills, to operate in a fast- paced setting.
  • Exceptional ability to engage with cross-functional teams, align stakeholders, and drive decision-making without direct authority. Full proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to see the big picture while maintaining an eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485, ISO 14971, and other medical device regulations is a plus.
  • HLA Knowledge is strongly preferred but not mandatory.
