The Regional Medical Affairs Lead, Neurology, for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for developing and maintaining strategic partnerships with external organizations, including academic institutions, healthcare providers, industry partners, and collaborating with the lead Medical Director on evidence generation and dissemination. 

This position is part of the Medical & Scientific Affairs located in the United States and will be remote with up to 30% occasional travel required. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time. 

You will be a part of the Medical & Scientific Affairs team and report to the lead medical director responsible for innovation, strategy, and evidence development and dissemination. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Relationship Management: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project Management & Cross Functional Collaboration: Oversee joint projects with cross functional partners, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.  Work closely with internal teams such as clinical research, regulatory affairs, marketing, and sales to integrate medical affairs activities with overall business goals.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure all activities comply with relevant regulations and ethical standards; provide regular reports to senior management on the status and outcomes of partnerships.
  • Market Analysis and Insight: Monitor industry, medical and scientific trends and provide insights to guide the strategic direction of medical and scientific affairs.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Advance degree, (preferably an MD, PhD, PharmD) with a minimum of 4+ years in life sciences, healthcare, or related field.
  • Proven experience in medical affairs, or a similar role in the diagnostic, healthcare or pharmaceutical industry. CNS experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical affairs and its role within the pharmaceutical/healthcare industry

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Dementia, Alzheimer’s Disease, OR other neurodegenerative diseases
  • Proactive, Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and management skills.

The salary range for this role is $140-$165k. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
