Purpose:

The Pollardwater division of Ferguson Waterworks is a leading supplier of maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) products, specializing in tools, equipment and supplies for municipal water and wastewater operations throughout North America. Since 1837, Pollardwater’s team of industry experts focuses on providing superior customer service and solutions for a wide variety of industry needs. Pollardwater is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for an Internet Merchandiser.

Overall Job Objective:

This individual is responsible for completing day-to-day and promotional merchandising updates on Pollardwater.com. They will work closely with Product Managers to execute their online strategy with a focus on growing sales and margins. The Merchandiser will assess competitor’s offerings and explore creative ideas to drive unique shopping experiences.

Location: This role is approved for remote work in the United States.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with Product Managers to execute an online strategy to grow sales and margin
  • Develop merchandising strategies to help increase engagement and conversion rates
  • Analyze and develop a cross-sell and up-sell product strategy to the assigned category products
  • Identify product gaps in the assortment
  • Review product refiners and key specifications to enhance search and product pages and drive conversions
  • Optimize online taxonomy, navigation and sorting
  • Review data content and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work with Marketing and Product Managers to implement online campaigns and promotions
  • Work with the Digital Marketing team to optimize online traffic to your categories
  • Develop strategies to create a unique shopping experience for key customer segments, maximizing a key understanding of our customer needs
  • Manage special projects assigned by the eBusiness Merchandising manager


Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • eCommerce experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge preferred (basic HTML, CSS)
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, etc.)
  • Self motivated and results oriented
  • Cross functional teamwork experience
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Product knowledge of Ferguson products from a broad range of categories and manufacturers preferred
  • Strong analytical skills

Pay Range:

Actual pay rate may vary depending upon location. The estimated pay range for this position is below. The specific rate will depend on a candidate’s qualifications and prior experience.

$4,124.70 - $7,791.30

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
