Job Title: Data Scientist

Reporting to: Head of AI

Location: Remote (within Poland)

Overview

As a Data Scientist at PIB Group, you will work cross-functionally to solve key business challenges through the development and application of data science solutions. This role involves working on Data Science & Machine Learning Solutions, Cloud Automation, Large Language Models (LLMs) for information retrieval, segmentation, AI agents etc.

Key Responsibilities

Implement LLM based solutions for agentic automation, document comparison, information retrieval, summarisation, and other descriptive, predictive or generative tasks.
Develop and deploy predictive ML models reliably and at scale using serverless cloud services on AWS and Azure.
Work closely within the team to implement model monitoring, recalibration, and performance reporting.
Collaborate with AI Engineers and Data Scientists to develop automation solutions for various PIB Hubs.
Stay up to date with advancements in AI, engineering, data science, and machine learning.

Requirements

Excellent knowledge of classical machine learning algorithms and data science fundamentals.
Proven experience in building and deploying machine learning models in a commercial environment.
Expert proficiency in Python, with strong knowledge of ML libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PySpark, Streamlit, Transformers, PyTorch, and LangChain.
Strong machine learning and coding fundamentals, including statistical modeling.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

Degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning or a related quantitative field.
Familiarity with MLOps, CI/CD, MLflow, and GitHub Actions.
Practical knowledge of Cloud Services
