Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Project Manager to join our team! We’re looking for someone with strong, proven skills in the following areas:

  • Time and people management
  • Writing, editing, and document organization
  • Interpersonal communication
  • Customer service with a “get to yes” approach and mentality
  • Organization, conceptual thinking, and attention to detail
  • Effective decision-making
  • Managing, organizing, and prioritizing multiple submittals
  • Strong facilitation, leadership, and communication skills to lead capture teams through the pursuit lifecycle
  • Ability to inspire outstanding work from team members with a range of experience and technical abilities in the development of proposal and task order responses

What You'll Be Doing with Us:

  • Lead development of compliant, comprehensive, and compelling submittals that are easy to score
  • Manage, schedule, edit, and produce multi-volume Federal proposals task order responses
  • Lead the proposal team’s execution of Parsons’ proposal process, proposal content, adherence to requirements and format, and managing our proposal team’s activities to create winning submissions
  • Lead proposal teams in an encouraging, diplomatic, and collaborative demeanor
  • Provide day-to-day leadership and direction of proposal resources with ability to communicate clearly with different groups and types of people
  • Facilitate strategy sessions, kickoff meetings, tag-ups, color reviews, and other milestone meetings
  • Work collaboratively with capture managers and leadership to identify problems and risks and quickly mitigate them
  • Maintain, adjust, and drive proposal schedules

What We Need from You:

  • US citizenship
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8+ years of managing and writing/editing multi-volume proposals and speed of light task order cycles that have resulted in Federal contract awards with values of more than $50M
  • SCI clearance
  • In-depth understanding of how to develop compelling and compliant Government RFI, RFP, and RFQ responses
  • Capable of facilitating strategy and storyboarding sessions
  • Experience developing proposal responses that include orals slides and video or live presentation
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to travel 20-30% of the year

Education/Experience

Bachelor degree and typically 8+ years of diversified experience, primarily within the business development realm of a large, multinational company.

Salary Range: $48.51 - $84.90
