About your new role!

We are seeking a talented Video Editor with a background in post-production digital video and sound editing to join our creative team. If you have a passion for storytelling, a keen eye for detail, and a knack for bringing ideas to life through sound and motion, then we want to hear from you.

This role will work on one of Malaysia’s leading Telecommunication providers. You will also get to collaborate with a large and diverse array of other creatives and consultants within GrowthOps.

Working as part of a multi-disciplinary and remote-first team, you will take responsibility for:

Video Editing:

• Editing raw video footage into polished, engaging final products for various digital platforms.
• Applying visual effects and motion graphics to short form videos
• Applying creative storytelling techniques to enhance the overall visual experience.
• Ensuring consistency and alignment with brand guidelines.
• Experience with colour correction is a bonus
  
  
  

Sound Editing:

• Editing and mixing soundtracks, dialogues, and sound effects to achieve high-quality audio output.
• Syncing audio with video to ensure seamless integration.
• Enhancing audio quality using various software tools.
  
  
  

Creative Collaboration:

• Work closely with the creative team to develop and execute concepts.
• Provide input and feedback on scripts, storyboards, and overall project direction.
• Maintain an organized workflow to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate new techniques into projects.
  
  
  

What We'd Love To See From You

• 3-6 years of professional experience in digital video and sound editing.
• Proven track record of producing entertaining content for digital and social media platforms.
• Knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
• Proficiency in sound editing tools like Adobe Audition or Pro Tools.
• Understanding of post-production processes, including color correction and visual effects.
• Eagerness to stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
