Job description

Location: Remote (Work from Home)

Schedule: 40 hours per week, with potential for overtime

Compensation: $6 - $9 per hour (USD)

VirtueStaff is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Remote Technical Support Specialist to join our talented team. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical assistance to our clients, troubleshooting a variety of hardware and software issues while ensuring optimal user experience. Your expertise will contribute significantly to maintaining client satisfaction and enhancing the overall efficiency of our services.

Responsibilities
  • Professionally handle customer service calls, addressing inquiries and resolving issues while maintaining positive client relationships.
  • Manage collections processes, diligently following up on outstanding payments and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Prepare and deliver timely and accurate quotes to clients, ensuring all necessary details are included.
  • Conduct thorough procurement research to gather information on vendors and pricing for informed purchasing decisions.
  • Maintain well-organized documentation related to customer interactions, collections, quotes, and procurement activities.
  • Manage schedules and coordinate appointments and meetings efficiently.
  • Provide administrative support by managing data entry, filing, and other office-related tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical support or a related IT role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, hardware, and software applications.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts simply.
  • Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a remote setting.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of documenting processes and solutions accurately.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Comfortable and proficient in working with numbers and performing basic calculations.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a clear and professional speaking manner.
