Job description

We’re looking for a Product Owner to join our engineering team and work directly with developers, designers, and stakeholders to help deliver high-quality digital experiences. This is an embedded role - you’ll sit with the team, make sure priorities are clear, and help everyone stay focused and unblocked.

You’ll be the go-to person for managing the delivery plan, clarifying requirements, and ensuring we’re building the right things at the right time. It’s a hands-on, practical role where you’ll keep the work flowing and the team connected to the broader goals.

Expected travelling time (Australia): 0%-15%, varies according to project/client. You will be working with teams across different time zones and locations.

Requirements

What You’ll Do

    • Work closely with the delivery team to clarify what needs to be done and why
    • Translate ideas and business requirements into clear, actionable work items
    • Keep the team aligned with priorities, helping to plan upcoming work and adjust when things change
    • Experience working in retail, eCommerce, or digital customer experiences
    • Make sure the team has what they need - information, designs, decisions, access - to keep moving
    • Stay in touch with stakeholders and update them regularly on progress and decisions
    • Keep track of dependencies, blockers, and risks, and help navigate them smoothly
    • Review what’s been delivered, gather feedback, and help shape the next steps

What You Bring

  • Experience working with software or digital product teams in a product, delivery, or business analyst role
  • Strong communication skills - able to talk to developers, designers, and stakeholders with ease
  • A clear, structured way of working - you know how to turn ideas into plans and plans into action
  • A practical, common-sense approach to delivery - not stuck on process, focused on outcomes
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar for tracking and documentation
  • Confidence managing changing priorities and helping teams stay calm and focused

Nice to Have

  • Experience working with large Australian retailers and companies in eCommerce
  • Visa or permission to travel to Australia.
