Job Purpose Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled D365 F&O Functional Solutions Architect to join our internal IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, and optimizing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) solutions for our organization’s internal business processes. This role is focused on ensuring the best possible alignment between our business objectives and the D365 platform, while improving operational efficiencies and driving digital transformation across various departments such as finance, supply chain, and quality.
What You Will Do
Solution Design & Architecture:
Lead the design and architecture of Microsoft Dynamics 365 solutions taking into consideration Corza’s global D365 standard processes.
Create and document functional specifications, blueprints, and solution designs based on business requirements.
Define and enforce best practices and methodologies in system architecture and design.
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and understand their functional needs.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications and design solutions that align with business objectives.
Act as the primary point of contact for functional requirements and solution alignment.
Customization and Configuration:
Provide expertise in configuring and customizing D365 applications to meet business needs.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration with other enterprise systems (Veeva QMS and Thermofisher LIMS).
Ensure that customizations and configurations follow best practices and avoid unnecessary complexity.
Project Management & Leadership:
Lead functional aspects of D365 projects from planning to implementation, ensuring timely delivery and quality of work.
Work with project managers to define project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Testing & Quality Assurance:
Oversee testing activities, including functional testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system integration testing (SIT).
Identify and resolve issues during the testing phases and ensure solutions are functional, reliable, and scalable.
Training & Support:
Provide training to end-users and internal teams on D365 functionalities and best practices.
Offer post-implementation support, addressing any functional issues and ensuring optimal system performance.
Contribute to the creation of user documentation, training materials, and knowledge base articles.
What you will need
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance, Supply Chain, Sales, Customer Service, or Field Service).
5+ years of experience in a functional consultant or solution architect role within the Dynamics 365 ecosystem.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry and computer system validation.
Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 modules and their functional capabilities.
Experience with business process analysis, system integration, and solution design.
Ability to lead client workshops, gather requirements.
Strong knowledge of business processes in key areas such as finance, supply chain management, quality, production and warehouse management.
The ability to work flexible hours with team members across time zones
Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) is a plus.
Experience working in Agile project methodologies is preferred.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Apps Solution Architect or similar certifications are highly desirable, but experience over certifications is most important.
