We are searching for a highly skilled and experienced QA Engineer to become a valuable team member. As a QA Engineer at Spocket, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products.


You’re excited about the role because you will:

  • Create comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure complete coverage of software functionality.

  • Use automated test scripts to efficiently identify defects, regressions, and performance issues.

  • Identify, document, and report defects and work closely with developers to resolve issues.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and provide input on product improvements.

  • Maintain detailed records of testing activities and ensure testing documentation is up to date.

  • Write and maintain code for test automation scripts using appropriate testing frameworks and programming languages.

  • Regularly update and enhance automated test scripts to keep pace with software changes and ensure script reliability.

  • Document test results, defects, and automation progress. Communicate findings to the QA team and developers.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a QA Engineer in a software development environment.

  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

  • Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.

  • Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages. (Cypress, Selenium, etc)

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and industry trends is a plus.

  • Knowledge of web development and technologies is a plus. (Typescript - React, Python - Django, Ruby - Ruby On Rails)
