Responsibilities

Job Summary

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable automated testing solutions for backend services, APIs, and UIs.
  • Own quality across the lifecycle of features — from design and implementation to release and monitoring.
  • Collaborate across engineering, product, and DevOps to integrate test automation into CI/CD workflows.
  • Lead the identification and resolution of quality issues, test gaps, and flaky test cases.
  • Contribute to QA process improvements and mentor junior engineers in automation practices.
  • Ensure performance and scalability validation of communication services where necessary.

Qualifications And Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 3 years in automation.
  • Strong skills in Go, JavaScript, or TypeScript for automation scripting.
  • Experience testing RESTful APIs, asynchronous workflows (e.g., Pub/Sub), and web applications.
  • Hands-on experience with test frameworks like Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (ideally Google Cloud) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent.
  • Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
