Summary: The role of the Automation Developer is to optimize technical and administrative workflows within the Storage Department through automation while ensuring security and compliance.
In the role of Developer, you will have a central role in our
Storage Department, where you will support the department's ambition to optimize technical as well as administrative workflows through automation.
You will be the only developer in the department, you will have an impact, and you will work with the development of various automations across the department in close collaboration with highly skilled specialists in their fields of expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Interdisciplinary collaboration in Storage to automate relevant use cases in
the department. This includes both automation for use at the very bottom of the
technology as well as, for example, the creation of relevant documentation in ITSM
systems.
- Ensure security and compliance in all development and automation cf. regulatory
requirements.
- Advice and ongoing sparring with the department's specialists to identify relevant
automation options and ensure that these are implemented in the best possible way.
- Work based on best practices within development, including version control, unit testing
and documentation of developed code, as well as its use.
Must-Haves:
- Practical experience as a Software Developer or Automation Engineer.
- Proficiency in programming languages, specifically Python and PowerShell.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible Automation Platform.
- Experience with REST APIs and Git.
