Job description

This is a remote position. Ideal candidate will be located in the New York/New Jersey, and/or work EST hours. Candidate must be based in the US. 

Staffing or Consulting industry experience is a plus. 


Job Summary:
A Finance Operations Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day functions of our company's overall operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in Finance, Operations, and Human Resources.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage HR systems, databases, and payroll processing. (ADP)
  • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions
  • Handle month-end closing procedures, including reconciliations and financial reporting
  • Participate in all sales and recruiting operation activities
  • Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and operational analysis
  • Maintain accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP
  • Oversee HR policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement HR best practices to improve efficiency.
  • Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Work with leadership to develop career progression plans.
  • Work closely with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals.
  • Supervise relationships with external vendors, including benefits providers and HR technology partners.
  • Provide insights into strategic decision-making.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Human Resources or related field (Required)
  • Experience with ADP Payroll, AP, AR, and month-end closing
  • Strong understanding of Financial and Human Resource Operations
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Remote Position with On Site Quarterly Meetings in the NY/NJ Metro Area

  • A minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience required
Salary range $75,000.00-85,000.00
