About The Role
Looking for an experienced Account Receiveable / Account Payable officer to work closely with our Finance Manager and Assistant Accountant.
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Generate and issue customer invoices promptly.
Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
Reconcile payments and investigate discrepancies.
Maintain AR records and provide aging reports to management.
Accounts Payable (AP)
Process supplier invoices and obtain necessary approvals.
Schedule and process vendor payments per agreed terms.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
Assist with month-end AP reporting and accruals.
Bank Reconciliation
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Identify and resolve unreconciled transactions.
Ensure bank records align with financial reporting.
Credit Card Reconciliation
Review and reconcile company credit card transactions.
Ensure proper documentation and approvals for all expenses.
Assist in resolving disputes or discrepancies.
General Financial Support
Lodge monthly, quarterly, and annual sales tax for US states.
Submit quarterly Workers’ Compensation reports (currently Washington only).
Collaborate with the finance team to enhance processes and efficiency.
Maintain accurate financial records in Xero.
Requirements and Qualifications
Proven experience in Account Payable / Account Receivable role
Good understanding of Accounting (3-5 years experience)
Xero experience a must have
Ideally degree qualified in accounting
Experience in Stripe (online payment processing and credit card processing platform)
Team player and strong work ethic with a can do attitude
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and administrative abilities
Strong problem solving and analytical skills
SaaS company experience is a nice to have
Experience working with a business that spans Australia and US is also a nice to have
Experience working in a high growth business environment and scale up culture is advantageous

Monday to Friday 6AM-3PM (Manila Time)
