We are expanding our presence in Vietnam and are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to spearhead our efforts in Ho Chi Minh City. As the first member of our team in Ho Chi Minh City, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth in the Vietnamese market. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with key stakeholders, and developing strategies to increase our market share in cross-border payments.


This role leverages a fully remote work approach to drive maximum productivity and innovation.

 

Your role & responsibilities

 

  • Market Research: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the cross-border payment sector in Vietnam.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement strategic plans to acquire new clients and partners, focusing on the trading companies and e-commerce companies.
  • Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders to foster trust and collaboration.
  • Sales Strategy: Create and execute effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Hong Kong team to align business development efforts and share insights on market dynamics.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates and reports on business development activities, market trends, and performance metrics to the Chief Executive Officer.


Your skills and experience

 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing, preferably in the financial services or payments industry.
  • Strong understanding of the cross-border payment landscape and regulatory environment in Vietnam.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a remote team.
  • Proficiency in both Vietnamese and English is required.
