The Vice President of Payer Sales, reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, is a strategic and results-driven leader and executer of our value-based care expansion strategy. This role will be responsible for driving growth through strategic partnerships with health plans, at-risk primary care provider groups, and other key stakeholders in the value-based care ecosystem.
The ideal candidate has a proven track record of bringing risk-based health plan deals from start to finish. Deep health plan and healthcare expertise as well as multi-stakeholder management are required for this role.

Who You Are:
10+ years of experience in healthcare growth, strategy, or business development roles, with a strong focus on payer sales, value-based care, digital health, or MSK healthcare
Deep understanding of alternative payment models, including MSSP, MA risk, ACO REACH, capitation, and upside/downside risk
Experience negotiating complex deals with health plans and at-risk PCPs, including direct contracting, delegated models, and shared savings programs
Strong network within the payer and provider ecosystem
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence
Strategic thinker with analytical rigor and operational follow-through
Bachelor’s degree required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent sales and customer service skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
