JOB DESCRIPTION:

SUMMARY OF POSITION

As Chief Clinical Data Officer, you will lead the development and implementation of evidence-based measurement strategies to leverage clinical data to improve patient outcomes and healthcare delivery. You will be responsible for identifying clinical outcomes and quality measures to satisfy internal and external quality requirements and for working with various stakeholder groups to enhance data literacy and data-driven decision-making across the health system. You will partner with diverse groups of stakeholders such as Clinical Operations, IT, Quality & Patient Safety and Analytics to enhance the organization’s practices around data governance and democracy and the use of clinical decision support tools and technology.  Communicates clearly and appropriately; provides excellent customer service. Adheres to applicable policies and procedures. Regular attendance and punctuality is required.  

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads the development and implementation of evidence-based measurement strategies across the organization including but not limited to:
    • Promoting strategies that support healthy data governance and democracy practices
    • Quality measures that align with internal standards and external requirements (health plan contracts, accrediting and oversight bodies, etc.)
    • Clinical outcomes measures, systems, and platforms to facilitate measurement-based care and clinical decision support
    • Population health data analytics
    • Embedding quality measures into organizational initiatives (i.e., grant evaluations, evaluation plans, projects pertaining to clinical supervision, service line development, etc.)
    • Enterprise Core Measures reporting, interpretation, recommendations, and evolution
  • Enhances and facilitates decision-making through data insights
  • Develops strategies to enhance data literacy and engagement across the Centerstone system and across multiple stakeholder groups
  • Monitors clinical utilization and practices to help identify opportunities for improvement
  • Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Stong understanding of clinical data management practices, including experience with clinical databases and decision support tools
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing data-driven strategies to improve behavioral health outcomes
  • Ability to work with various types of stakeholders to identify and solve data-related challenges, including design features that enhance user interaction with decision support tools 
  • Ability to effectively manage a portfolio of projects related to clinical data and clinical data systems
  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods

QUALIFICATIONS

Education Level

  • Must have at least a master’s degree (Ph.D. preferred) in healthcare administration, clinical psychology, data science, clinical informatics, or another related field

Years of Experience

  • 7-10 years experience in behavioral healthcare leadership, and
  • 5 years experience implementing research-based clinical outcomes and/or quality measures

Pay Range:

$131,800.00--$197,700.00
