The opportunity

Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) is looking for a collaborative team player to fill the position of Cross-Functional Operations Coordinator I for the Office of The University Registrar.You will be asked to contribute to the efficient operation of the Operations team. The Cross Functional Operations Team supports the Office of the University Registrar specialized teams with daily tasks, including peak volume times, to uphold the learner first customer mindset. You will ensure best practices, which includes use of available tools, university systems and policies. You will report to the Associate Director of AQAS Operations. This role can be remote working in our approved states. #LI-Remote

 

What you'll do:

  • You will serve as the full-time generalist of the Registrar's Office by answering the main Registrar telephone line to support students, faculty, and staff with registrar-related questions.

  • You will manage and distribute incoming inquiries from students and staff. This includes using multiple technological platforms such as the SNHU Service Portal and Salesforce CRM 'Unify'.

  • You will share a variety of knowledge regarding the Office of the University Registrar's responsibilities, policies.

  • You will speak to several topics across departments, including calendars and dates, grades, registration, enrollment, transfer credits, program modifications, program evaluations, graduation, commencement.

  • You will ensure accuracy of information to the University's procedures.

  • You will use available resources and use existing and new technology to provide the most accurate records and positive student experience.

  • You will identify process improvement opportunities and implement solutions.

  • You will assist the Associate Director of AQAS Operations with several tasks to ensure the office runs effectively including ordering supplies, creating master schedules for office coverage.

  • You will work with Registrar teams to stay up to date on procedure, process, and policy changes that directly improve Registrar functions.

  • You will update G2P documentation and ensure that accurate and information is provided to all employees being backups to the G2P.

  • You will provide training to employees assisting with phone coverage.

  • You will provide support to the Registrar teams with special projects and data entry.

  • You will perform assigned commencement responsibilities.

  • Other responsibilities as assigned. Job responsibilities can change at any time.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university or experience in lieu of degree acceptable.

  • 3+ years of customer service experience.

  • Experience completing tasks using customer-facing systems and technologies.

  • Must be detail oriented.

  • Exhibit strong interpersonal communication skills, critical thinking skills, and a growth mindset.

  • Demonstrate the ability to prioritize work, perform well under pressure and maintain productivity despite interruptions.

  • Collaborate and work well on a team.

Compensation

The hourly pay range for this position is $16.94 - $27.11. Actual offer will be based on skills, qualifications, experience and internal equity, in addition to relevant business considerations. We expect this position to be hired in the following target hiring range $18.72 - $25.32.
