Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled Sales Engineer to join our team. This is a remote position for candidates located in US time zones. The ideal candidate will serve as a trusted technical advisor to customers and prospects, working closely with the sales team to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions.

This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity products and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Work alongside the sales team to understand customer needs and present tailored cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct technical discovery calls and provide expert guidance on VIPRE’s security solutions.
  • Assist with Proof of Concept (POC) trials, ensuring smooth setup and execution.
  • Deliver engaging live demos showcasing the features and benefits of VIPRE’s products.
  • Provide technical insights on implementation, integration, and scalability.
  • Address customer questions and concerns, offering practical solutions to cybersecurity challenges.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to stay up to date with the latest security solutions and industry trends.
  • Act as a technical expert and trusted advisor for VIPRE customers throughout the sales process.
  • Work with marketing teams to contribute to webinars, whitepapers, and thought leadership content.
  • Attend industry events and security conferences as a representative of VIPRE.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Pre-Sales, or similar technical role in cybersecurity, SaaS, or IT security solutions
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, desired in endpoint protection, email security or awareness training
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure. 
  • Ability to travel occasionally for customer meetings, events, and conferences.
