Job description

Position Summary

The Integrated Delivery Network (IDN) Account Manager will play a critical role in driving business with our current portfolio while shaping the launch and execution of our future assets in the dye market.

A pivotal aspect of the role is to lead with purpose, emphasizing a patient-focused, customer-focused, and people-focused approach. This role will build partnerships that drive contracts with IDNs and ensure access to end users that will enable Provepharm, Inc to surpass its sales and business goals.

SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
  • Work closely with leadership team to develop a sales plan and strategy to meet overall performance objectives and execute sales performance to meet or exceed sales projections
  • Develop and execute account level business plans for assigned IDNs, ensuring formulary access while working with Regional Account Managers to drive demand in hospitals and IDNs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers within IDNs, including C-suite executives, pharmacy l leaders, and procurement teams
  • Comprehensive contract negotiation and administration, including strategic business case develop, implementation, and on-going performance measurement to ensure pull-through and contract compliance.
  • Identify new accounts and grow existing accounts in sales volume and expand portfolio opportunities with existing customers.
  • National and Regional Trade show participation

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device sales, with at least 2 years focused on national or regional account management experience
  • A mix of Generics/ Brand injectable experience preferred as well as proven success in new product launches. Proven track record of success in developing and executing IDN strategies
  • Strong understanding of hospital systems, purchasing processes, and healthcare industry trends
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies
  • Experience with CRM systems and data analytics tools
  • Existing relationships with IDNs, Group Purchasing Organizations, Hospital Health Systems and Specialty Pharmacies
  • Business Acumen. Strong negotiating and IDN contracting capabilities and deep understanding of implications of the changing health care landscape to the needs of accounts. In addition, Understanding of US contracting landscape and implications of regionally derived contracts have on the entire US Product Portfolio and the US Business itself
