Position Title: People Systems Architect

Location: Lisbon, Portugal (Remote)

Reports to:  Sr. Director, Global People Systems

 

THE ROLE & OPPORTUNITY:

 

The People Systems Architect will be responsible for the system maintenance, day-to-day support, and enhancement of Wella’s People Systems, with a focus on SAP Success Factors Core HCM and Employee Central.

 

The incumbent will design and maintain system structure to ensure optimal operating functionality of HR applications. Other core responsibilities will include documenting system processes and procedures, defining testing strategy and approach, and providing system training to end-users across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

 

Design and Development:

  • Work with business owners to design and launch new functionality, including requirements gathering, specification development, testing, and implementation
  • Create test scripts and conduct unit and user acceptance testing to ensure requirements are met and there are no adverse effects on the system or data quality
  • Maintain system integrity by conducting routine audits of assigned modules/systems
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, identify, and correct technical problems and deficiencies
  • Maintain quality and consistency of the SAP SuccessFactors database
  • Keep up to date with system upgrades and enhancements, and notify appropriate users accordingly

 

Security:

  • Acts as SuccessFactors Administrator and ensure all access is appropriate per role, country, state, and local legislation based on privacy laws and company policies
  • Responsible and accountable for the efficiency, stability, and accessibility of applications
  • Configure data workflows including access permissions, approval paths and business rules

 

Integrations:

  • Support inbound and outbound integrations between SAP SuccessFactors, ADP, UKG, Darwin, Varicent and various internal and external applications

 

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Develop, support, and maintain SuccessFactors reports and dashboards

 

Training and Documentation:

  • Provide instruction and guidance across the organization on the use and functionality of SAP SuccessFactors and other HR technologies
  • Develop instructional guides and provide training as needed
  • Document system processes and configurations, ensure that all system documentation is kept up to date

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR and/or IT Systems
  • 5+ years working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors, HR reporting tools, and various HR processes and policies  
  • Knowledge of GDPR and PII regulations
  • Advanced analytical skills
